What are factors and multiples? What is the difference between a factor and a multiple? In this video, learn the difference between factors and multiples as well as strategies for finding factors and multiples for a given number. Students continue to use these skills whether they realize it or not over and over again throughout 4th, 5th and 6th grades through when performing long division, simplifying fractions, adding and subtracting fractions without common denominators, finding the greatest common factor and least common multiple of given numbers and so many more!
