Our Story
Parents of today’s students are struggling to find the time and the right resources to help their students be successful in math.
The unfinished learning from the COVID-19 pandemic has left many students behind in math and not only trying to keep up with their current lessons and homework, but also going back and grappling with math concepts that they never fully understood.
The new strategies of teaching math-- specifically in grades 3rd through 6th implemented by the Common Core Standards Initiative, have left many parents baffled as they try to help their students with math problems that look more like a foreign language. They then spend countless hours hunting and pecking through Google and YouTube only to come up short of exactly what they were trying to find.
So we set off on a journey to create a solution that would provide high quality, easily accessible math lessons for students in grades 3rd-6th based on Common Core Standards.
We became passionate about examining which objectives and skills students struggle with and where the most common problems in learning occur. Skills such as working with fractions, long division, subtracting with regrouping, and solving word problems just to name a few.
We began developing online digital courses based on those needs that:
- Are planned and taught by an experienced, licensed teacher.
- Provide high quality instruction and step by step help with math problems
- Offer help with specific math skills progressing from 3rd grade through 6th grade.
- Come with downloadable supplemental materials such as helpful visual organizers and skill practice pages with answer keys.
- Students can take anytime and anywhere to meet the needs of busy schedules.
We are honored and excited to share our courses with you and hope that they help your student overcome learning gaps and master those critical math skills so that they can confidently solve grade level problems and have continued support as they advance through the common core math curriculum.
